The bed and breakfast IL SOLE is located in a private area (viale Alemagna 97 which is a side road of the main street via Armando Diaz) in the centre of Portici.

It is located in a strategic and calm position far from the traffic of the town. The bed & breakfast IL SOLE is only 500 metres far from the motorway exit Portici – Bellavista (motorway A3 Napoli – Salerno – Reggio Calabria).

The railway Circumvesuviana station of Portici – Bellavista is only 100 metres far; the circum Vesuviana trains connect Napoli with Pompei and Sorrento. The circumvesuviana trains are very frequent every day and it takes only 18 minutes to get to Napoli (Piazza Garibaldi), only 25 minutes to get to Pompei Scavi (station Pompei Scavi – Villa dei Misteri) and 55 minutes to get to the main station of Sorrento.

One can get to the archaeological site of Herculaneum in only 10 minutes by bus and in shorter time to the state railway station of Portici route Napoli – Reggio Calabria.
